Dah banyak kali pergi Melbourne pon tak pernah singgah sini.~_~ Husband dah 2x datang sini. It is a must place to go if you're craving for Indonesian cuisine or ikan keli! I was craving for ikan keli so sangat happy-nak-nangis dapat makan.:') Btw, start makan & fall in love with ikan keli masa matrik cos kat rumah memang tak pernah dimasak since my mom hates it.(Nasib dapat laki suka ikan keli.;p) So, every time lunch hour hari menu ikan keli sangatlah gembira bukan kepalang!

Price is quite reasonable for 2 ikan keli per serving. It's around $9-$11. Nasi pon banyak & saya makan habis sepinggan sorang.(Eh, if campur si kenit jadi 2 orang.;p) Lepas habis makan rasa tak laratnya nak jalan dah.~_~

Dah seminggu sampai Malaysia baru update cerita Melbourne.;p Flight Melbourne-KL baru ni adalah antara long hours flight yang paling best yang pernah saya naik even flight agak penuh & duduk di belakang kanak2 yang tak reti duduk diam.~_~

1. bernasib baik lagi dapat duduk tepi tingkap.
2. duduk sebelah amoi yang muka ala2 macam heroin Korea yang saya suka.Heroin cerita Wonderful Life& Three Dads One Mom.;p
3. Flight smooth sangat2.Tak rasa naik & turun.Even sampai Msia awal 15mins dari dijangkakan.
4. Tak rasa nak ke toilet langsung.
5. My hand luggage tidak penyek ditindih beg orang lain.
6. Dapat baca buku berselang seli dengan tidur yang aman tanpa menghiraukan kanak2 yang sedikit annoying.

Ok, sehari sebelum balik Malaysia kami (saya, cousin, housemates cousin & budak2 NZ) pergi ke Brighton Beach.Naik tram + train.Agak jauh jugaklah sampai balik tersengguk2 dalam train.;p

Tujuan pergi konon nak tengok sunset+ tangkap gambar cos Syazana (cousin's housemate ada DSLR)As for me, selain mahu menjejakkan kaki, mahu membakar lemak.Ok,tipu.Tu hanya secara kebetulan.;p

1. Naik tram, naik City Circle

-Trams are almost everywhere in Melbourne.Tak macam kat Adelaide.Eh, tram kat Adelaide pon I tak naik lagi.;p Btw, Adelaide ada O-bahn tau!Jangan jakun tengok bas jalan atas landasan keretapi.Wajib naik tram kat Melbourne nanti dah pergi Melbourne orang tanya,"Naik tram tak?"Dengan bangganya jawab,"Haruslah dah naik.";p

Tram& train adalah FREE ok masa 25Dec!Nak naik tram dari jam 8 pagi sampai 11malam pon boleh pusing2 1 Melbourne if kamu sanggupnak jalan2 1 Melboune.Naik turun tram 88x untuk ambil gambar.That's why saya suggest pegi Melbourne time Krismas.Selain Boxing Day yang sangat best, dapat jugak jimat kos tram 1 hari.;p

Tempat beli tiket.Ada je spesies manusia taknak bayar nak naik free sepanjang masa cos kadang2 je ada orang check.Tapi bak kata Encik Husband,"Kita orang Islam kan,kenalah jujur".

2. Rent a bicycle


Eh,ni tak wajib.I pon tak buat.Teehee.Tapi bolehlah if nak try naik basikal kat city.Ada banyak tempat nak rent basikal.Bila lagi nak naik basikal pergi city.Tipulah if saya cakap saya telah pergi Sogo naik basikal.;p

3. Naik kereta kuda/Tangkap gambar dengan kereta kuda


Nak naik kereta kuda round2 city?Jom pergi Melbourne!Saya tak naik pon, sebab mahal macam tak berbaloi baik beli Coach.Teehee.So tangkap gambar dengan kereta kuda sudah.Dan2 tangkap gambar kuda tu pon kencing.@#$%^&&* So,caption gambar adalah:Bersama kuda yang sedang kencing.~_~

4.Minum coffee $1 kat 7-Eleven
Peminat2 coffee sekalian,ada Espresso, Long Black Coffee,White Coffee, & Cappuccino.Selain itu, hot chocolate.Rasa boleh adjust sendiri ada susu segar free.Dan gula kot,tak ingat pulak.The thing is actually suka jalan2 shopping pegang cup coffee yang comel bertutup melengkapkan gaya.Macam style.Bergaya ke?Hahhaha.



Tak cukup lagi, beli Slurpee pulak.As usual, saya jenis suka campurkan semua sekali flavour yang ada.Tamak nak rasa semua.:D Btw, kat 7-Eleven Greenwood,Gombak ada Slurpee perisa Cheesecake!Serious rasa cheesecake.1st time tau terkejut ok.

The Most Expensive Pancake I've Ever Eaten

Pancake (nama glamour lempeng) is my one of my favorite breakfast meals.I love to eat it with maple syrup, strawberry jam or ice cream!!~Kat Malaysia suka gila order McD pancake breakfast set + sundae Strawberry.OMG,kena masukkan dalam senarai-makanan-wajib-makan-balik-msia.;p My husband doesn't like pancakes as much as I do so bila buat pancake biasanya saya makan sorang.:D Now dah ada pancake mix semurah $2 so nak buat pancake semudah ABC.(bukan air batu campur ye.;p)

Actually ada buat sedikit research pasal food kat Melbourne & dapat tau ada kedai pancake best dari blog Farah.She is husband's friend punya gf.So saya pon mencari The Pancake Parlour.

I went to Indolicious twice during my stay at Melbourne.1st time-masa 2nd day at Melbourne,pergi sorang sahaja after balik Queen Victoria Market.Husband was busy working on that day so he told me to have lunch alone.I didn't have any idea where to go memandangkan perut sudah lapar berjalan jauh (Sesat sorang2 on my way back home from Queen Victoria Market) so I just walked to Indolicious.2nd time, tak ingat dah hari keberapa kat Melbourne, we went there together.

Nasi Uduk Komplit $9.50 (RM29)
Special coconut rice served with beef or deep fried chicken and egg balado & crispy potatoes!It's quite similar like nasi lemak.Cuma ikan bilis ganti dengan kentang halus yang garing.


Nasi Iga Penyet $9.00 (RM27.50)
Rice served with deep fried beef spareribs & indolicious special sambal.


Nasi Ayam Penyet $9.00 (RM27.50)
Rice served with deep fried chicken & indolicious special sambal.

I really love the sambal& the softness & tenderness of the beef!

P/S - Jangan terkejut tengok mat saleh semangat makan nasi.Btw, nasi campur pon ada kat sini.

DFO Southwharf

Today is my 2nd time going to DFO Southwharf.(Insya-allah next February will be the 3rd time.;p) It's a must-have place to go for shopping lovers!~~Banyak kedai ada.Guess,Levi's, Nine West, Fossil, Cotton On,Aldo etc.

Guess is having a BIG sale.A pair of jeans = $40 only!!.Selain membeli Levi's jeans for $49.97,my husband bought one from Guess.Handbag?Takde yang menarik & yang cantik2 pulak harga lebih kurang je dengan Coach@ebay US..Bagus!Since saya masih puasa handbag selepas mendapat ini.

Bought nothing for myself since I didn't know what to buy.Berkenan nak beli 1 jam Fossil ni,$49.95 sajerk tapi memandangkan sayang jam kahwin yang still elok terus tak jadi beli.Bagus lagi sekali!;p The thing is saya bukan jenis suka/rajin nak tukar2 jam macam saya tukar baju.Baju 1 bulan saja sudah bosan.Kat Msia almost every month beli/tempah baju baru.Duduk Aussie nak dekat setahun tak beli baju baru.(I mean baju jalan).Sendiri bosan dengan gambar sendiri baju/tudung sama.Fesyen muslimahI susah nak dapat kat Aussie.Baik kumpul elaun beli baju banyak2 balik Msia nanti.;p


Good for my husband.Susah tau nak tengok dia shopping & ada baju baru.Btw, the Nine West (handbag) is for my MIL.For myself&family, tunggulah pergi Melbourne bulan 2 nanti.

Lazzat!

Safely arrived at Melbourne Tullamarine Airport about 8 am (Melbourne time).I'm glad that Tiger Airways didn't delay our flight (seems Tiger memang terkenal dengan ke'delay'annya) cos I was too tired& sleepy to expect a delay.A lil bit shocked with Melbourne yang sejuk!!!~~It's summer now by the way, I didn't expect that cold!Omputih pon pakai baju bubble2 bagai.

Faced so many obstacles in our way to Lygon Street where my cousin's house located but alhamdulillah everything is ok in the end.:D

After things have settled down, we walked along the Lygon Street to look for this shop (It took only a few minutes walk from the house):

Lazzat has ala carte and nasi campur/lauk but being me who doesn't prefer nasi campur bila makan luar haruslah pilih ala carte.Besides, I was tired of nasik,nasik,nasik.Beras basmathi pulak...;p tu yang I makin sihat sekarang ini. I had Singapore Spicy Noodle with seafood(you can choose between chicken meat & seafood) & husband had Hong Kong Noodle.And yes,macam biasa, plain water is free even gelas besi macam kat jail/asrama.;p


Price: Affordable.I think sesuai la dengan portionnya.
Taste:Quite delicious.Bukan macam mi sekolah asrama.;p
Service:We didn't know that all orders must be made at the counter.Tak terbaca kat dinding kedai even dah tampal.We called for the waitress padahal cashier (she's wearing tudung btw) & ordered food.Luckily she's friendly with first-timer like us & tak kerek pulak suruh order kat counter.

My 1st Day in Melbourne

19 July 2010
- Departed from Adelaide.Flew with Tiger Airways.Yeay!!Got a window seat again!!
- Arrived Melbourne airport about 2pm after 1 hour & 30 minutes journey.
- Adelaide is 30 minutes behind Melbourne.

Bye2 Adelaide.See you after 1 week.;p

- My dear cousin fetched me at the airport.She took me to her house at Lygon Street.
- Walked around Melbourne city, bought a perfume and had dinner.
- Melbourne is not as cold as I've thought.Penat je bawak jaket yg paling tebal.Thanks to my cousin who lent me her nice jacket.(I think it makes me slimmer & taller.;p)










- I couldn't sleep well at night even the room was comfortable enough with heater.(Missing my husband, maybe?;p) Btw, we only use heater at night starting from 8pm at our home in Adelaide and we only use blanket heater while sleeping. My husband has trained me to survive without heater at home maka badan saya agak kebal pada waktu siang sehingga jam 8 malam.;p

How to Stay Warm at Home Without a Heater?These are some of our tips.
