Salon Du Cocolat, Quill City Mall

Lepas bawa anak ke Kidz Paradise, kita pergi isi perut dulu. Lepas reward anak, kenalah reward emak.;p Anak pon tak larat nak buat perangai sebab dah puas bermain. I decided to try Salon Du Cocolat since before datang dah google siap2 tempat makan yang best di sini supaya tak buang masa. I'm not sure mana yang buka dulu, Dip and Dip or Salon Du Cocolat but menunya memang almost the same (or memang sama?) So if anyone tak sempat merasa Dip and Dip bolehlah cuba Salon De Cocolat and vice versa. I have tried both so memang rasa lebih kurang. Ada yang kata Salon Du Cocolat is better. Masing2 punya taste.

What to order?

Rice crispies yang dipopularkan & diviralkan oleh Keknis pon ada.

I ordered Chocolate Crepe RM16.90 + a scoop of Strawberry Ice Cream (add RM3.50) Brownies crepe macam too much pulak untuk habiskan sorang2. Yang ni alhamdulillah habis makan.:D

Suasana memang selesa , tenang , bersih maklumlah hari biasa & Quill City Mall ni baru je dibuka so masih banyak lagi kedai yang belum dibuka maka tak ramailah lagi orang datang.

Dear Azalea Cafe

Selama ni hanya rajin stalk IG Dear Azalea & bila Dear Azalea baru bukak cafe haruslah berkobar2 nak datang. Can refer to their IG here.:)


Nak parking kat situ macam susah sikit but alhamdulillah after pusing 2x dapat parking dekat sangat dengan cafe. Sampai2 je cafe hujan terus turun selebat2nya. Memang bernasib baik sungguh, alhamdulillah.

Disambut dengan begitu ramah oleh owner cafe. Memandangkan hari gelap even baru dalam pukul 3 petang, she gave me this cute lamp nak bagi terang sikit katanya.;p

 

Here came first my hot cappuccino & brown sugar? My sister was on diet that day so alhamdulillah 'again' she didn't order anything even the delicious cupcake!. LOL.

And my Smoked Salmon Aglio Olio Spaghetti. Sedap tapi portion macam banyak sangat pulak for me. Sesuai la dengan harganya.

Sambil makan boleh membeli macam2 barang comel kat cafe ni.

Ada small section for kids so they can enjoy themselves.:D

Love green tea!

Even I can consider myself as a coffee addict, now kalau pergi Starbucks dah tak rasa nak order any coffee cos I love its green tea frappe so much ! Bila cakap kat orang green tea frappe, some of them like 'yikes!sedap ke?tak suka rasa green tea!!' Hee. I love green tea .green tea frappe,green tea ice cream, KitKat green tea (sanggup ke Jaya Grocer mencari & paid RM20 for it!) , sabun Shokubutsu green tea,(eh?,seriously best ok!) but not kek Secret Recipe green tea !Yang tu sangat tak recommended! Memang boleh influence your feelings terhadap green tea.:p

Alhamdulillah, here I am again in Malaysia, dapat merasa green tea frappe. Berjaya influence my SIL to try it & dia terus suka!:p rasa macam teh ais je.

This is green tea ice cream from Sushi King.kat bawah ice cream tu ada red bean ball la kot lebih kurang.sangat sedap.whipping cream pon sangat sedap! Everything is sedap. I want MORE!

Went to Giant Supermarket and I saw green tea ice cream. I was so excited sampai terjerit 'Ya Allah GREEN TEAAA!!!!' Macam peminat fanatik jumpa artis pulak.:p childish pon ye.

Rasa?okla but not recommended for u yang baru nak merasai kesedapan green tea sebab rasa green tea tu quite strong.my brother tak suka.hihih.

Phew.Baru balik dari travel Melaka-Muar-Batu Pahat-JB untuk makan2. Alahai miss part Melaka-Batu Pahat,( Melaka-ikan bakar ) , (Batu Pahat-Beriyani Gam) now nak update je cerita JB. Really miss JB!last time pergi honeymoon express after kawen;p Tak sempatlah pulak nak jalan2 ke JPO sebab dah penat sangat.Panas gilerr + well bawak baby sometimes memang mencabar.

Spent a night at Hotel Sentral JB, previously known as Hotel Naza Talyya. Diri sendiri confident sangat cakap kat husband hotel Naza Taniyya ye.Pfftt. Me myself memang suka sangat nama Tania tu sampai over confident pulak taip kat GPS Naza Taniyya.Kah3. Sampai2 hotel still under construction (maybe sebab tu dapat special rate?) sebab nak remove semua furniture from Naza katanya so yg kami dapat tu kiranya baru siaplah.Wuhuu.new furniture!

Bilik 1 katil takdela pulak so terpaksa la ambil 2 katil but itsokay sebab memang nak tinggal hotel yg sama even owner dah lain + katil tu boleh joinkan je. The only thing yg komplen kat kaunter masa nak check out is iron yg rosak sampai menyebabkan tudung kesayangan berlubang tak dapat diselamatkan lagi.Grrr.

And here's the reason why kami pergi JB. Mi rebus tulang legend. Mi rebus haji wahid kat Plaza Angsana tu 2nd fav! Makan mi ni memang hilang la kesopanan & kesusilaan tambah sambil makan Fedora tarik2 tudung pfftt but itsokay.;p

This is the restaurant. Sila terjah kalau ke JB ye. Next time agaknya dah anak 2 pulak baru dapat datang sini.Hee.

On the way back to KL, hari panas sangat sampai nak mengamuk rasa so berehat seketika for BR ice cream.

The best pavlova

Berry Pavlova from Serai is the best pavlova I've ever eaten! Went to Empire only for it! ~_~ Ok, actually nak tengok2 Empire jugak cos tak pernah pergi. The pavlova costs RM15.70 but since I was craving for it so beli jugak. Kalau convert dengan pavlova from Michel's Patisserie kat Adelaide harga $4 so it will be around that price so ok la kan.;p The size is bigger so rasa berbaloi la jugak. Wanna try Alexis next time!

Kek durian superb!

Since now musim durian tiba2 craving for durian cake pulak. Ahah, since when pulak suka sangat durian ntah. Masa pregnant, pernah teringin durian but since durian mahal kat Adelaide & husband dislikes durian so minum Chatime durian jela to satisfy my cravings.;p Yes, ada Chatime durian kat Adelaide tapi kat Msia non ada.:(

Found this cake from blog Diah & since makcik yang buat durian ni duduk dekat je from my parents' house, she stays at Taman Melati so I decided to give it a try.

The owner is so kind, tak minta deposit pon for the cake & I decided to pick it up on Saturday sebab masa tu ramai orang kat rumah so ramai yang tolong habiskan the whole cake!:)

Entering the restaurant, we were welcomed by a friendly staff. Nampak je Melayu terus cakap Melayu. Sangat suka.:) Kedai Indonesia tapi ramai mat saleh yang datang makan.

The restaurant is dimly lit & I love the deco except patung-patung yang quite disturbing. Memang feel 'Bali' sangat dengan background music Bali ke Indonesia, tak sure.

Konpius nak pilih makan apa. Read some reviews before kata Nasi Goreng yang sedap. Mula2 fikir takkan la datang kedai macam ni nak order Nasi Goreng, balik rumah pon boleh buat.*sombong ye.* Tapi takde Nasi Uduk, Nasi Iga or Ayam Penyet or even Soda Gembira. Maybe makanan Bali lain kot. I don't know.

Harga main course lebih kurang $12-$25. We enjoyed 20% discount cos husband ada SDA membership card.:)

Ended up ordering Gado-Gado, Sup/Soto Ayam & Nasi Goreng Istimewa jugak.Hehe. Alhamdulillah sangat sedap, bukan so-so je rasanya.

2nd Anniversary Dinner

After visiting the zoo, we had our dinner at Piatto since we want to taste 'pure steak'.;p Yup, Piatto serves halal meat!

Actually kawan yang suggest Piatto tu order spagetti yang sedap. Kami pulak nak rasa steak omputih & memang tak berapa kena dengan tekak but I managed to finish my meal sebab lapar + taknak membazir! Large portion tapi daging 'ciput' & sayur sangat banyak. Bak kata husband, 'Sangat healthy'. I felt like being a 'kambeng' munching on veggies.lol.

Nice ambience, air-conditioned restaurant + can enjoy your meal while watching TV. Husband was enjoying eating + watching tennis while I was enjoying my meals dengan penuh perasaan tapi lambat jugak habis.;p

As for drinks, husband had Barbican; a non-alcohol drink originated from Middle Eastern & I had Banana+Mango juice.So yummeah~~Even masa bukak2 botol tu bau pisangg sangat. I thought I'll burp bau pisang tapi tidak ye.;p

 

Since it was our first time coming here, staff tu quite helpful nak suggest order yang mana. Dia suggest order BBQ Chicken so order jela cos rasa takde mood nak makan lamb. I don't know why but since pregnant cinta mendalam terhadap si kambing sedikit pudar.;p

Dah banyak kali pergi Melbourne pon tak pernah singgah sini.~_~ Husband dah 2x datang sini. It is a must place to go if you're craving for Indonesian cuisine or ikan keli! I was craving for ikan keli so sangat happy-nak-nangis dapat makan.:') Btw, start makan & fall in love with ikan keli masa matrik cos kat rumah memang tak pernah dimasak since my mom hates it.(Nasib dapat laki suka ikan keli.;p) So, every time lunch hour hari menu ikan keli sangatlah gembira bukan kepalang!

Price is quite reasonable for 2 ikan keli per serving. It's around $9-$11. Nasi pon banyak & saya makan habis sepinggan sorang.(Eh, if campur si kenit jadi 2 orang.;p) Lepas habis makan rasa tak laratnya nak jalan dah.~_~

Birthday Dinner

Since yesterday was my 21st birthday (ehem!;p) I didn't have to cook! Here we were last night for buka puasa..

I don't remember its name & I don't know how to pronounce it correctly. The waitress has pronounced its name tapi makcik terpekak!;p Anyway, it's sticky rice+ meatballs+yogurt.

Quite delicious but I would say it's not as yummy as Uyghur food. (It's just my opinion) Anyway, it's good for you if you like to try new food. So bad we didn't finish our meals because of large portions. Just 'tapau' to bring home.:D

The good thing is takde arak ye dijual di sini. Omputih bawak sendiri time nak makan kat sini. FYI, the restaurant was full of omputih. Husband said, "At least the Afghans are still practicing it". Kalah TGI Jumaat you..(Eh2 kat TGI Jumaat ada Muslims serve arak ke?) I don't know cos I've never been there since kat Malaysia banyak sangat tempat makan.

Flavours of India

My husband and I went to uni since afternoon and we were late to prepare for buka puasa at home.Singgah The Fish Factory & his friend's house untuk hantar ikan cos kawan dia & his wife nak buat laksam sempena birthday anak mereka.Then husband said,"Oklah alang2 jom la pergi buka kat luar."

Yeay!I was so happy cos I didn't have to cook kari kepala ikan as husband requested before.!Hehe.Btw, that was my 4th time (kot!) there for dinner.

I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to taste real Indian food. They also have kebab, roti naan, Tandoori chicken, papadom etc.They serve big portions! Order 1 nasi boleh makan 2 orang. We ordered 2 bowls of rice & siap tapau balik nasi & lauk.
